About Our Cause

Co-Founded by Boston Bruins legend and NHL Hall of Famer Ray Bourque and former Boston Bruins goaltender Cleon Daskalakis, CFC became an independent 501(c)(3) charity in 2002 with the mission of “Uniting the Goodwill of Celebrities with the Generosity of their Fans to Assist People in Need.” The Foundation achieves this mission by offering celebrities various resources such as advisory services, a 501(c)(3) platform, and various technology services including CFC’s highly successful netRaffle.org program, which it launched in 2005.

In addition to these celebrity based services, CFC also offers direct assistance to charities through its Celebrity Connect program, which donates autographed memorabilia and sporting event tickets to assist charities with their fundraising efforts. The Celebrity Connect program alone makes in-kind donations to over 300 charities annually, which raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for these charities each year.

CFC has donated over $15 million to charity in memorabilia and funds.
