The 2018 Trojan Football Season hasn't turned out how many have expected. The Trojans halted a 6-game losing streak against Presentation College 44-28. The Trojans got back to basics to get the W Saturday and look to end the season strong starting with an away trip to Mayville State this Saturday.
The Trojans are led by Brodie Fredericksen who leads the NAIA in Rushing Yards, Rushing Yards per game, and 2nd in All Purpose Yards and All Purpose Yards per game. To balance out the offensive attack is Mason Leighton, who is number 3 in Total Scoring, and number 3 in total Receptions.
Defensively, the Trojans are led by Curt Boeke, who is averaging 12.9 tackles a game and leads the team with 5 sacks. Boeke's 12.9 tackles per game are good for 3rd in the country along with that Boeke is 5th in the country with 13.5 Tackles for Loss.
To round out the season, the Trojan's finish up with Mayville State, then play their final home game and senior day against Waldorf, and top the season off with a final away trip to Dickinson State.
DSU won 27-18 over Dakota Wesleyan Thursday night. Brodie Fredericksen highlighted the offense with 282 yards with 31 carries on the ground while Riley Janke led the defense with 12 tackles.
Trojan fans the wait is OVER. Thursday night DSU Football is back as the Trojans travel to Mitchell and take on rival DWU. LET'S GO!!!!! TROJAN PRIDE all season long!!
