Founded in 2016 by Dodgers' All-Star third baseman and his wife Kourtney, the Justin Turner Foundation is committed to serving the Los Angeles community. JTF supports veterans, children battling life-altering illnesses and diseases as well as various youth baseball organizations. Justin feels incredibly blessed to be given such an large platform to raise awareness and help support causes that are important to him.
Justin is a two-time nominee and one-time finalist for the Marvin Miller Man of the Year award, given to a player whose on-field performance and contributions to his community inspire others to higher levels of achievement. He was also the Dodgers’ 2017 nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award. The award recognizes a player from each MLB club every year who best represents the game of baseball through character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions both on and off the field.
The Justin Turner Foundation’s current partnerships include The Dream Center, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the 17Strong Foundation.
Coming off a impactful offseason where Justin hosted his 3rd Annual Justin Turner Golf Classic and was named the official race ambassador for the 2018 Los Angeles marathon, JTF hopes to keep the support going for the LA community.
